Film “Animal Farm: Little Heroes”

October 13 | 18.00 | Raseiniai District Cultural Centre An educational and inspiring film for the whole family, created based on George Orwell’s bestseller! Welcome to a farm where its furry and feathered inhabitants are definitely not prepared to put up with endless work, empty feed troughs, and an owner who seems to care only about himself. So one day they decide – enough! If people cannot properly take care of the farm, then it’s time to take everything into their own wings, claws, and paws. And, truth be told, the plan seems quite good: everyone is equal, everyone works together, everyone lives better. What more could you want? But it turns out that running a farm is much harder than running through meadows or rummaging in hay. Soon two of the cleverest pigs – Napoleon and Snowball – begin to argue more and more loudly about whose ideas are better and who should really be in charge. And when two leaders pull in different directions, there’s not a trace of peace left – the whole farm spirals into unexpected events. While some loudly make promises about a bright tomorrow, the kindhearted horse Boxer works so hard that it seems he could plow all the fields by himself, and the silent Benjamin watches everything from the sidelines. He speaks little, but when he does open his mouth, it becomes clear – this donkey sees much more than he wants to show. “Animal Farm: Little Heroes” is an educational, witty, and at the same time touching story about a group of very different animals who decide to create their own destiny. There is no shortage of amusing moments, memorable characters, unexpected twists, and biting situations that remind us that big dreams sound wonderful… but fulfilling them is not always as simple as it seems. The film will be shown in Lithuanian cinemas starting September 4. Ticket price: 6.50 eur.
