SUMMARY:BECOME A JEWELER AT ZYPLIAI MANOR!
DESCRIPTION:On October 24 at 1 PM\, we invite you to exclusive jewelry workshops at Zyp
 liai Manor\, where the historical manor environment meets Baltic heritage\,
  blacksmithing traditions\, and contemporary creativity. This is not a usua
 l education but an opportunity to experience the jeweler's craft in the aut
 hentic space of Zypliai Manor – to take metal in your hands\, feel its pr
 operties\, and create your own unique jewelry piece from copper or brass.Th
 e workshops are suitable for both first-time participants trying jewelry ma
 king and those with experience. Each time you can choose a different techni
 que\, form or creative idea\, making each work unique and one of a kind. Du
 ring the workshops\, you will try jewelry techniques based on blacksmithing
  principles – hammering\, wire twisting and bending\, creating surface pa
 tterns\, sanding and polishing. You will learn about Baltic jewelry forms\,
  ornaments and symbols and become acquainted with copper and brass and thei
 r traditional uses. You will also have the chance to try metal oxidation �
 � an aging technique. You will create your chosen piece of jewelry – a ri
 ng\, earrings\, a brooch\, a pendant\, or even a complete set. The educatio
 n will be led by folk artist\, jeweler\, and the founder of the brand “Ž
 alvario Jūra\,” Jurijus Mochnačiovas\, who has been creating unique jew
 elry for over 30 years\, and his daughter\, second-generation jeweler Marij
 a Vaitiekienė.Duration – 2 hours. Price – 35 Eur/person. For participa
 nts aged 12 and up. All materials needed for creation are included in the p
 rice\, and you will take home the jewelry you created after the workshops.
