SUMMARY:Two-Part Comedy "Three Loves" (Director: K. Kazlauskaitė)
DESCRIPTION:On October 22 at 6:00 PM at the Raseiniai District Culture Center Descripti
on A drama of emotions (with human weaknesses and cleverness) about the ete
rnal need to be loved. Actress Kristina Kazlauskaitė takes on directing on
ce again – the comedy "Three Loves" by Julia Beniuševičiūtė-Žymantie
nė\, better known by her pen name Žemaitė\, a classic of Lithuanian lite
rature. The action of the play takes place in a Lithuanian village. A villa
ge lad\, Liudvikas\, uses his charms to simultaneously try to win over thre
e loves – a mother living in one village house and her two daughters. How
ever\, his aim is not love but wealth. The young man tries to extract money
saved by the mother. Various situations arise – comedy of lies\, decepti
on\, and seductions – where each of the three women seriously falls in lo
ve with Liudvikas. The legendary theater actors will embody vibrant charact
ers in the performance: The role of the Mother is played by actresses Dalia
Brenciūtė and Violeta Podolskaitė. Young generation actors Balys Ivanau
skas and Artūras Dubaka will share the role of Liudvikas\, while the daugh
ters will be played alternately by Redita Dominaitytė and Kristina Savicky
tė (Petronėlė) and Aistė Lasytė and Veronika Tarasevičiūtė (Domicel
ė). The farmer Kozeris – Vytautas Taukinaitis and Gediminas Storpirštis
. "Three Loves" is one of the works of national drama and remains relevant
today. Three women and one man. Deception or sincerity? Love or calculation
? Eternal questions that Kristina Kazlauskaitė\, using her directorial vis
ion\, the talents of the actors\, local dialects\, and conveying the amplit
ude of human traits and feelings\, will try to answer emotionally\, dramati
cally\, and comically. Everyone wants to love and be loved. Liudvikas and h
is three loves are the perfect example of that. Scenographer: Vidas Ribokas
