 o the security of our city and state? This will be discussed on November 9 
 at 18:00 at the MarijampolÄ— Cultural Center in an open discussion "Day X W
 ithout the Unknown: MarijampolÄ—". During the event\, we will discuss Lithu
 ania's security situation\, preparation for potential crises\, and what sec
 urity means for the city of MarijampolÄ— and the local community. During th
 e discussion\, we will talk about challenges in case of crisis\, the role o
 f institutions and citizens\, specific preparedness actions\, psychological
  resilience\, and the ability to act together. Discussion participants: •
  Robertas Kaunas\, Minister of National Defense\; • Col. Danas Mockūnas\
 , Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Military Commandant's Office\; â
 €¢ Nerijus MaÅ¡alaitis\, Director of MarijampolÄ— Municipal Administration\
 ; • Capt. Marius Gricius\, military psychologist. During the discussion\,
  there will be a question and answer session – anyone who wishes can dire
 ctly ask questions to the speakers and receive answers to their questions. 
 During the event\, a photography exhibition "Lithuanian Armed Forces in Pho
 tography 2026" dedicated to the memory of war photographer Tadas Dambrausku
 s will also be officially opened. It presents shots revealing soldiers' dai
 ly service life\, moments of celebration\, military equipment and weapons.
