SUMMARY:Comedy “Striptizo ereliai”
DESCRIPTION:ĮSIGYTI BILIETĄ \n A cult-favorite play\, “Striptizo ereliai\,” tells
the story of six unemployed men from a small Lithuanian town. Tired of wea
ring out the park benches day after day for little benefit\, one of the fri
ends gets an idea for finding something to do and earning money: the friend
s decide to become striptease dancers… It is no surprise that the start o
f their “new career” not only demands enormous willpower\, but also end
angers their long-standing friendship. This play\, based on the play “Lad
ies Night” by dramatists Stephen Sinclair and Anthony McCarten\, was firs
t performed in 1987 in New Zealand – and became the most profitable play
in world theatre history of all time. The play has been translated into twe
lve languages\, and in 1990 and 1994 it became the most popular tourist att
raction in England. The 1997 English film “Striptizo ereliai” (eng. The
Full Monty) also achieved huge success\, and in 2006 it was included in th
