SUMMARY:Opening of Linas Kaziulionis exhibition "Evidence"
DESCRIPTION:On September 4\, Friday\, at 17.30\, the exhibition "Evidence" by Linas Kaz
 iulionis opens at the Exhibition Hall of Klaipėda Culture Communication Ce
 ntre (KKKC)\, Didžiojoje Vandens g. 2\, featuring works from different per
 iods and creative cycles by the artist. They are united by L. Kaziulionis' 
 characteristic interest in the human relationship with information\, the na
 rratives it creates\, and our ability to distinguish reality from fiction. 
 The exhibition runs until September 27.    The overload of information we r
 eceive every day can not only inform\, but also mislead\, exhaust\, or shap
 e our beliefs. This tension is reflected in L. Kaziulionis' painting itself
 . Visual attractiveness becomes not only an aesthetic choice\, but also a w
 ay of speaking about attention – how it is captured\, directed\, and how 
 it can shape our relationship with reality.    The artist does not seek to 
 provide final conclusions or reveal a single specific "truth." Using symbol
 ism\, mysticism\, irony\, and ambiguity\, he deliberately does not separate
  reality from fiction and leaves room for the viewer's personal interpretat
 ions.    The exhibition becomes a kind of experiment\, exploring not only w
 hat information we accept\, but also why we are inclined to believe it. It 
 invites us to take a closer look at the images and narratives around us and
  to reflect on how much of the reality we perceive is based on facts\, and 
 how much on interpretations\, emotions\, and stories constructed by others.
     Linas Kaziulionis (b. 1993) is a painter and street artist\, a master's
  student at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA)\, who won the prize for the b
 est young Baltic painter in 2022. He actively paints on canvas and is value
 d for his recognizable bright painting style\, excellent command of color\,
  insightful themes\, including large-format mural drawings.    KKKC Exhibit

 nday 11–19 (closed on public holidays). Please note that participants may
  appear in event photos and videos published in various media outlets. Admi
 ssion to the exhibition is free on the opening day\, later – paid.
