Intriguing news for theater lovers! Merūnas Vitulskis and Marius Repšys are moving into the “garage” – a new comedy “Don’t Tell Your Wife” will soon begin its journey across Lithuania. Darelis and Marčius meet in Darelio’s garage – their escape from family and everyday life. Supported by beer and silence, the men begin a symbolic “technical inspection”: discussing work, their friendship and hobbies. Marčius traditionally opens up about problems in his relationship with a long-time friend. Darelis is also experiencing emotional distance from his family, which is further aggravated by unexpected news about moving to Gdańsk. Before it’s too late, both decide to fulfill a long-cherished dream – to sail down the rivers of Lithuania on a raft. Whether they will succeed in finding a balance between family, friendship and manly dreams, the audience will find out soon in the theater. This is a warm, comic, and at the same time melancholic story about male friendship, midlife crisis and the desire for freedom. “For a long time, the garage has been for many Lithuanians a refuge from household chores and forced duties at home, like an oasis of freedom and independence, so we men only become true there, open to the bone, without any masks.
