Detective Education | “The Gates of Noise: What Happened to the City?” | For Ages 11–16

On Friday, November 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the Exhibition Hall of the Klaipėda Cultural Communications Center (KKKC), Didžioji Vandens Street 2, we invite 11–16 year old students to open the detective case “The Gates of Noise” and embark on a detective adventure in an art exhibition! The connection to the city has been lost. It is unknown what happened and whether the territory is still suitable to live in. Only fragmentary images, objects, sounds and testimonies remain. What happened here? A catastrophe? A secret operation? Or does someone want you to think so? In the case-education “The Gates of Noise: What Happened to the City?” secret envelopes, team missions and clues hidden in artworks await you. You will search for hints, verify other detectives’ versions and together you will reconstruct the city’s final hours. Games, discussions and shared discoveries will allow you to look at contemporary art creations in a new and unexpected way. And after the investigation – creative workshops: you will create a mysterious city finding and challenge other detectives to decipher it. Duration: 1.5 hours. Price: 5 EUR. Registration and information: phone number 0 645 44 581 or by email [email protected]. We inform you that participants may be seen in photos and videos of the event published in various media outlets.
