Raseiniai District Culture Center together with the packaging waste management organization “Green Point” invites children to a free performance “Mice’s Clean Vacation”!

The Alytus Puppet Theatre “Aitvaras” presents the second performance for preschool and primary school children “Mice’s Clean Vacation”, which aims to tell children about environmental protection and the importance of proper packaging waste sorting through memorable character adventures, creating a responsible relationship with things and explaining the untapped possibilities of packaging waste sorting in an understandable way.

Briefly about the performance: The main character of the performance is Mice Clean, who lived for a long time in a mixed waste container. There, he worked hard sorting waste, as many people are either too lazy or don’t know how to sort waste. One day beautiful and new paper, plastic, and glass containers were brought to Mice Clean’s yard. And all the residents of that yard began to sort waste properly. Mice Clean had no choice but to go on the vacation he had dreamed of for so long.

The plot of the performance consists of the adventures of Mice Clean during his vacation. Although it’s vacation time, while traveling through the forests and meadows of Lithuania, he encounters numerous scattered pieces of waste. A wind-blown snack bag, an old cardboard box dreaming of becoming a small pink gift box, a toy teddy bear left without an ear, a glass mug thrown from a passing car. After all, discarded items also have dreams. And Mice Clean loves order and knows well that every item must have its place. So while on vacation, he helps these wastes find their dream countries – designated sorting containers.
