Giedrė Putramentaitė | “What is the Value of Culture?” | Klaipėda Cultural Field Research Presentation

October 29, Thursday, 18:00 at the Klaipėda Cultural Communication Center (KKKC) Exhibition Hall, 2 Didžioji Vandens Street, there will be a presentation of scientific research by culture manager, mentor and KKKC resident Giedrė Putramentaitė on the Klaipėda cultural field and the value of culture. During the presentation, the resident will present a brief summary of her research with representatives of the cultural field – what was learned about how we understand and articulate the value of culture. Then participants will be invited to an open discussion: how do we ourselves understand the value of culture and should we, as a cultural sector, communicate it more actively? The consultant will invite discussion about what creates cultural value, how we recognize it, and what responsibility falls on us ourselves to present it. The event is free. We inform you that participants may be visible in photographs and video recordings published in various media.
