After a year-long break, the performance “Happiness is a Fox” returns to the stage. It is created based on a book for children that has won numerous awards in Lithuania and abroad. The performance tells a story about friendship and life values – generosity, the sadness of loss, and the joy of discovery. All of this is shown against the backdrop of live music and wild, atmospheric, and interactive action. This highly popular performance about happiness will once again delight young theater enthusiasts. During performances taking place in different Lithuanian cities, they will be able to meet Fox and Povilas and get acquainted with this touching story, and those who have read the book on which the performance is based will be able to compare its characters with the characters portrayed by the actors.

The book on which this performance is based is well known to readers in Lithuania and abroad. The story about the friendship between a fox and a boy, created by writer Evelina Daciūtė and illustrator Aušra Kiudulaitė, has attracted worldwide attention and was highly appreciated at children’s book exhibitions in Italy, Japan, South Korea, China, and America, and is read all over the world.

“We are very much looking forward to new performances and meetings with children, because it is a celebration not only for the children, but also for us, the actors of the performance. After all, we don’t get the opportunity every day to have fun, be silly, and dream with them. In this performance, children become active participants who do exercises with us, search for Miss Margarita, and find the answer to what happiness is,” says actress Daiva Rudytė, who performs in the play.
