The popular relationship comedy is finally coming to Lithuania too! In March and April 2025, lovers of good humor attending the popular performance “Pereinamasis miegamasis” will be able to enjoy a dose of overwhelming optimism. Having enjoyed great success in Latvia last year, the performance will be shown this season in the largest Lithuanian cities. The creative team from Latvia is delighted to present this witty, full of wordplay situational comedy translated into Lithuanian, featuring beloved Lithuanian actors, to Lithuanian audiences. Well-known, great, charming, talented Lithuanian actors – Oneida Kunsunga Tadas Gryn Renata Kutinaitė Ainis Storpirštis Darius Petkevičius – will deal with the misunderstandings of married couples caught in everyday routine. Themes related to relationships cross national borders, so the creative team of the performance would like to tell this humorous, skillfully written story to Lithuanian audiences. The director of the performance is one of the main actors of the Latvian Art Theatre, Imantas Stradas (Imants Strads), and the author, set designer and costume designer is actor Ivo Martinsons (Ivo Martinsons). The team also includes other well-known Latvian artists, and excellent Lithuanian actors appear in the performances. Both theatre professionals and audiences benefit from such sharing of international cultural processes among the Baltic states. This situational comedy, for which tickets are always sold out, has been performed in Latvia for several seasons and, at the request of the audience, keeps returning to stages in various cities. The performance “Pereinamasis miegamasis” has attracted great audience interest and positive critical reviews throughout Latvia.
