The military commander Othello recently married a young and beautiful woman Desdemona. His subordinate Iago, seeking revenge for not being promoted, plants the idea that Desdemona is unfaithful to him. Blinded by rage, Othello kills Desdemona and only then learns the truth. This is a performance about manipulation, lies, deception and betrayal. Good and honorable people in such an environment become the past.
