A former cabaret star decides to rent out her apartment, where a love-starved maid lives, determined to find a husband, and two other women. One of them is a piano teacher who wants to find students and open her own studio, where she could play undisturbed. The other is an artist determined to find the perfect muscular model who would help win a competition. All of them dream about their bright future, so they eagerly await suitable candidates. Before long, men begin to arrive one after another according to the ad and, to their surprise, when the door opens, they are greeted by the wrong woman.
