Theater Comedy JUST DON’T TELL YOUR WIFE

Intriguing news for theater enthusiasts! Merūnas Vitulskis and Marius Repšys are moving to the “garažiukas” – the new comedy “Just Don’t Tell Your Wife” will soon begin its journey across Lithuania. Darelis and Marčius meet in Darelis’ garage – it is their escape place from family and everyday life. Supported by beer and silence, the men begin a symbolic “technical inspection”: they discuss work, their friendship, and hobbies. Marčius traditionally opens up about issues in his relationship with his long-term girlfriend. Darelis also experiences emotional detachment from his family, which is further exacerbated by unexpected news of his move to Gdansk. Before it’s too late, they both decide to realize a long-nurtured dream – to cross Lithuania’s rivers by raft. Will they manage to find a balance between family, friendship, and manly dreams? The audience will find out soon in theaters. This is a warm, comedic, and at the same time melancholic story about male friendship, midlife crisis, and the desire for freedom. “The garage has been an oasis of freedom and independence for many Lithuanians since ancient times, a shelter from domestic obligations, where, as men, we become truly open down to the marrow, without any masks. Magical things happen in garages, where one man never judges another, and no one is angry with anyone for anything. Paradise,” said M. Repšys.
