Tour of the exhibition “Vakarų vėjai’26/Dažnis” with coordinator Birutė Skaisgirienė

On August 27, Thursday, at 17.30, at the Klaipėda Culture Communication Center (KKKC) Exhibition Hall, Didžiojoje Vandens g. 2, there will be a tour of the exhibition “Vakarų vėjai’26/Dažnis”, in which more than 50 professional artists, members of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association (LDS) from the Western Lithuania region, present their works from the past two years. The exhibition runs until August 30, so this is one of the last opportunities to see live what has recently inspired the artists of Klaipėda and the Klaipėda region – the next chance will be only in 2028, as “Vakarų vėjai” is organized every two years. Some of the creators presenting their works in the exhibition will also take part in the tour, so visitors will be able to ask questions live and get answers firsthand. The joint exhibition features works from various genres – from painting, sculpture, graphics and small-scale plastic art to interdisciplinary and applied art. And the main axis of this year’s exhibition is FREQUENCY, because for those living by the sea nothing is final, as the exhibition coordinator Birutė Skaisgirienė says.
