Maslenitide “Gaida” – 28th Traditional Republican Capella Festival in Anykščiai

On February 14, 2026, the 28th traditional republican capella festival “Gaida” will take place at Anykščiai Culture Centre, dedicated to Maslenitide festivities, live folk music, and community spirit.

The festival will bring together capellas from various Lithuanian cities and towns – Kelmė, Pasvalys, Visaginas, Miežiškiai, Anykščiai, and will also feature the Paulius Kablis family capella and accordionists. During the event, traditional Lithuanian folk music will resound, full of playfulness and energy.

This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in authentic Lithuanian folklore, welcome spring with music, fire, and good cheer.
