Virgis Stakenas Concert “Ballads Under a Hat”

Virgis Stakenas Concert “Ballads Under a Hat” will feature well-known and beloved songs, ballads, and new works. During the concert, the performer will not only gift a live music evening but also present his new book “Ballads Under a Hat”. The book includes 53 chronologically presented ballads by Virgis Stakenas and their chords. Each song is accompanied by a short story that tells how it was created and what circumstances inspired its inception. These stories together reveal details of the performer’s life, creativity, and the era. “Ballads Under a Hat” is an evening where songs have their own stories, and stories turn into songs. A sincere, live, and nostalgic meeting awaits with one of Lithuania’s most prominent ballad creators and performers, Virgis Stakenas.
