The Performance “Accounting Mistake”

Is it really possible to predict and calculate everything in life?! We invite you to analyze the “mathematics of life” together, as solved by the characters of a lyrical comedy – the actors of the amateur theater of Kazlų Rūda cultural center. On November 18th, at 18:00, a cheerful comedy by Vytautas Alantas “Accounting Mistake” will take place at the Kazlų Rūda cultural center – a funny and witty story about an unexpected mistake that disturbs the characters’ plans and throws them into a whirlpool of comedic situations. Sharp dialogues, unexpected misunderstandings, and lively humor guarantee a great mood and a fun evening for the audience. The author of the play – Vytautas Alantas, a Lithuanian writer, journalist, and playwright. He studied in France, worked at the ELTA news agency, was the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Lietuvos aidas”, and created a rich literary legacy – novels, short stories, journalism, and more than ten plays. After fleeing Lithuania at the end of World War II, he later lived in the United States but remained an active promoter of Lithuanian culture throughout his life.
